Slow and Steady
Over the last two years, I have received visits from more turtles than ever before. I like to look at my little visitors as messengers. And, it seems appropriate that turtles are visiting me at a time in my life when my body is also asking me to slow things down. So, I'm reminded that slow and steady is the surest way to "win" this race. I painted my little friend using elements of neurographic art and inspiration from First Nations Turtle Calendars (13 moons and 28 days between full moons). This painting was created using watercolors and mixed media. It measures approximately 7.75 x 11.75 inches and comes with an 11 x 14 mat. *** Please note that I am not a professional framer. At this point, the mat is to help with shipping and presentation more so than anything else. But, I do hope that this little courtesy Iām offering (for the time being) will make it easier to frame. (I used the ArtStage app to stage my artwork in rooms. The artwork is not sold with a frame.)
